Message	with the plenum to raise the screw point. You can probably get 2-3 washer and longer 10mm screws with same thread to make it work. I mounted mine on the hood prop sensor bracket for easier usage. BTW- You do need to turn it a bit still as it is in a fully closed position when you first get it...jus an FYI!
